Si tratta della Corus Bank, importante banca che operava a Chicago (Illinois) con 11 agenzie, e di altre 2 banche minori negli Stati del Minnesota e di Washington.
In totale, al 12 settembre 2009, sono 92 le banche fallite da inizio anno.
