Regulators on Friday May 7th seized four banks, bringing to 68 the number of U.S. bank failures this year:

> (Bonifay, Florida-based) The Bank of Bonifay;
> (Champlin, Minnesota-based) Access Bank;
> (Mesa-based) Towne Bank of Arizona;
> (San Diego-based) 1st Pacific Bank of California, 6 branches.
