The U.S. bank failures went on at a strong pace in latest 4 weeks: from 5th July to 1st August, 17 more banks were added to the list, which means more than 1 bank every 2 days on everage, with a peak of 7 banks on 24th July.
Georgia, California, New York, South Dakota, Wyoming, Illinois, New Jersey, Ohio, Florida, Oklahoma are involved in the lastest 17 failures.
On 1st August 2009, the total number is 69 failed banks since the beginning of 2009.

Il ritmo dei fallimenti tra le banche USA non conosce sosta, anzi mostra segni di accelerazione in queste ultime 4 settimane: dal 5 luglio al 1° agosto ne sono fallite altre 17, mediamente più di una ogni 2 giorni, con una punta di 7 il 24 luglio scorso.
