From 1st to 15th August, eight more U.S. banks were added to the list:
- three banks were closed in Oregon and Florida on friday 7th ;
- five banks were closed in Nevada, Arizona, Alabama and Pennsylvania on friday 14th (last night), included Colonial Bank (Alabama), the largest bank failure so far this year (*).
On 15th August 2009, the total number is 77 failed banks since the beginning of 2009.

Dal 1° al 15 agosto, altre 8 banche fallite e chiuse negli USA:
- n° 3 banche, venerdì 7 agosto, negli Stati dell'Oregon e Florida ;
- n° 5 banche, venerdì 14 agosto (la notte scorsa), negli Stati del Nevada, Arizona, Alabama e Pennsylvania, tra le quali la Colonial Bank (Alabama), il piu grosso fallimento bancario da inizio 2009 ad oggi (*).
Il totale, aggiornato al 15 agosto 2009, fa 77 da inizio anno...
